The Frozen & Refrigerated Association of the NorthEast (FRANE), incorporated in 1955, is a non-profit regional trade association representing the ever changing frozen and refrigerated food industries throughout the NorthEast.

In September 2002 FFANE changed its name to the Frozen & Refrigerated Association of the NorthEast (FRANE).
This was designed to expand the scope of the Association to follow the trends of our Industry by taking advantage of synergies between frozen, dairy, and refrigerated foods and offering our members the opportunity to get a better value for their dollars spent supporting the Association. The Association is guided by an Executive Committee and a Board of Directors that are elected by its membership. A wide range of companies that are affiliated with the frozen food industry, including brokers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers/distributors, and warehousing/transportation, make up the 135 member companies. FRANE’s "Mission Statement" is to educate, teach, promote, support, and encourage improved efforts marketing quality frozen foods, as well as to safe-guard, in all lawful ways, the interests and welfare of its members, and to communicate useful information concerning all phases of the frozen food industry to its membership and consumers. FRANE is one of the largest and most active frozen food associations in the United States and is affiliated with the National Frozen & Refrigerated Association (NFRA). Any individual, firm, corporation, or other enterprise whose business is directly or indirectly related to the frozen food industry may apply for membership. |
