If you are interested in becoming a member of FRANE, please download and print the Membership Form and mail or fax it to the FRANE office. All businesses that directly or indirectly support the Frozen or Refrigerated industries are welcome to apply for membership. Our memberships base currently includes retailers, wholesalers/distributors, manufacturers, brokers, storage and logistics providers as well as other service providers.

Scholarships

Each year, FRANE awards thousands of dollars in college scholarships to employees or immediate family members of our member companies. To date, we have awarded close to $500,000 in scholarships to deserving students throughout the Northeast.  This year, we have increased our scholarship award by 50% and will award the same number of scholarships, if not more than we have in the past, in 2010.

Sponsorships and Marketing Opportunities
As a member of FRANE, there are unique opportunities for your organization to capitalize on sponsorship opportunities throughout the year.  In addition, as a member of the National organization, FRANE members enjoy marketing and POS materials for the March and October Frozen Food Month programs, June Dairy Month program and July Ice Cream Month program.  In addition, there are unique opportunities to localize coupon inserts and consumer recipe programs within our trading area with our 3rd and 4th quarter programming.

FRANE/Ryan Marrocco Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament
This annual event is the primary source of income for our scholarship program. Enjoy a day in the sun with industry associates and friends, while supporting a worthwhile cause. This springtime event, scheduled this year for Tuesday, May 18, 2010, is held annually at Pine Hills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA.  This private club opens its courses to our members each year for a phenomenal day of golf competition.

Additional FRANE Programs offered
FRANE has made a commitment and is working directly with the Food Banks throughout the Northeast to support efforts in fighting hunger.  In March, we will launch our first annual Volunteer Day, where members of our organization can work with their family and friends at a local food bank in the community they serve.  In addition, we have launched our annual Back Pack program that will focus on donations in the September time frame for kids heading back to school.  We will also offer coordinated donation events throughout the year to support the food banks in the Northeast.

Educational Opportunities
Throughout the year, FRANE offers professional and personal enrichment seminars and/or forums that focus on current, cutting-edge topics for both individual and business needs. In addition, as a member of the National Frozen and Refrigerated Association, FRANE members have access to hundreds of resources, events, periodicals, speakers and forums designed exclusively for the Frozen and Refrigerated industry.

Annual Conference and Convention
Traditionally held in late September or early October and always at a four or five star New England resort, this annual event brings frozen and refrigerated industry professionals, families, and friends together for a weekend of business networking, education, and relaxation.  This year's event is scheduled at The Sagamore, Bolton Landing, NY from Thursday, September 30 through Sunday, October 3, 2010.
